Student Code and Card are used to prevent duplicate accounts and keep all enrollments tied to one SMI profile. Course pricing is intentionally hidden on this form and is read from the current course settings when the payment request is created.

You can open either portal without saving the code; remembering it is optional and only makes future access easier.
